TradeBooks provides cloud-based accounting and financial management software designed for contractors and trade professionals. Our Service includes features for invoicing, expense tracking, job costing, financial reporting, and related functionality.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years old.
We may offer a free trial period for new users. At the end of the free trial, you will be required to select a paid subscription plan to continue using the Service, unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your chosen billing cycle.
You authorize us to charge your chosen payment method for all fees. If your payment method fails, we may suspend or terminate your access to paid features. You are responsible for any applicable taxes.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, except as required by law.
We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time. Price changes will be communicated in advance and will take effect at the start of your next billing period.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

You grant us a limited license to use, store, and process Your Data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license ends when you delete Your Data or terminate your account.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of Your Data. The Service is a tool to help manage your finances, but it does not replace professional accounting or tax advice.
While we implement reasonable measures to protect Your Data, you are encouraged to maintain your own backups. We are not liable for any loss of data.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by TradeBooks and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.
The Service may integrate with third-party services (e.g., banking connections via Plaid, payment processing via Stripe). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third party's terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services, nor for any damages arising from your use of them.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
WE DO NOT PROVIDE ACCOUNTING, TAX, OR LEGAL ADVICE. THE SERVICE IS A SOFTWARE TOOL AND SHOULD NOT BE RELIED UPON AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRADEBOOKS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TradeBooks and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in the Service. Following termination, we may delete Your Data in accordance with our data retention policies.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If resolution is not reached within 30 days, either party may pursue legal remedies.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TradeBooks regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
